The Fatri, humanoids of diverse forms, possess an astonishing ability: to rapidly adapt to their environment. But beyond their physical differences, they share a deep respect for all life, believing in the interconnectedness between themselves and the planet. They learned the hard way that cooperation is the key to survival and prosperity.
The Fatri are divided into three main branches: Arids, Aquas, and Greens, the latter being the most numerous along with the Aquas. Although their biology allows them to adapt to diverse environments, they prefer the three central continents, which are more hospitable to life.
After a dark period of industrial exploitation and global collapse, the various Fatri societies have achieved a lasting harmony, benefiting from their diversity. The Reunification, initiated centuries ago on the continent of Selvar thanks to a crucial technological advancement, led to an equilibrium that has endured for over half a millennium.
However, in Vallizor, a continent of abundance and security, some young—and not so young—Greens have begun to question the need for community. Accustomed to protection, they believe they can fend for themselves and prosper without sharing their resources with the “newcomers,” the “less skilled,” and the “weak.”
This emerging individualism, coupled with the biological and resource disparities among the different subspecies, has rekindled longings for a past order in some prosperous coetus, especially in the inner lands. Although not openly discussed, this latent sentiment threatens the harmony achieved.
